
Note for Outlook Web App Users: It is not possible to import your schedule into Outlook Web App (OWA). Tap the calendar you wish to add the items to.
How to import ics file into outlook calendar download#
(Or if you only added a single item in the Download Class Schedule tool, tap Add to Calendar.)
Tap Add All in the upper right corner. Click here if you need to remove a previously imported class schedule or academic calendar from your Outlook Calendar. Note: If the newly added schedule events do not display on your calendar as expected, contact the Help Desk at ext. View the downloaded Schedule.ics file in Finder, and drag and drop it onto your Outlook calendar to import it. The Schedule.ics file will be downloaded to your computer and may automatically open in the default Calendar app. Click Download Schedule (Mac/iOS) on the Download Class Schedule web page. Save the resulting Schedule.csv file in the My Documents folder on your home directory (also known as the M: drive) or to another location you will be able to easily access. Follow the steps in the Import Your Schedule into Outlook section below for your specific version of Outlook. Use the red X to the right of the item to remove it. Status: Choose the status to display for the item on your calendar. Reminder Before Event: Use the drop-down menu to choose a reminder time, if you want your calendar client to give you a reminder alert prior to the event. Ends: Choose the end time for the item. Begins: Choose the start time for the item. If your item should repeat on your calendar throughout the current semester, do not change the end date. End Date: By default, the end date is set to the last day of the semester, excluding finals week. If your item should repeat on your calendar throughout the current semester, do not change the start date. Start Date: By default, the start date is set to the first day of the semester. Day(s) of the Week: Click Select Day(s), and checkmark the days the item will occur. This will appear in the location field for the item on your calendar. Location: Type a location for the item or leave the field blank. This will appear in the subject field for the item on your calendar. If you wish to add additional items to your calendar, click the Add Additional Item button for each item, and input the appropriate information as described below:. Important: If you already imported the academic calendar or any of your classes for a particular semester into Outlook, be sure to uncheck those items before proceeding or you will have duplicate entries in your calendar. On the Download Class Schedule page, select the desired semester from the drop-down menu provided and checkmark the items from the list you wish to import into your Outlook calendar. Follow the steps below to export your schedule to a file and then import the file to Outlook. Also, all users have the option of importing the academic calendar and custom items into their Outlook Calendars. Students and faculty have the option of importing their class schedules from Banner into their Outlook Calendars.
